The results of the 22/12/2017 ballet audition for GNO Ballet dancers are announced:

It is announced that upon a decision of GNO Artistic Director, Giorgos Koumendakis, the renowned choreographer and director Konstantinos Rigos is appointed the new GNO Ballet Director

On Monday, 22 January 2018, at 10.30 a.m. an audition for the position of three (3) male or female ballet dancers will take place in the presence of a committee, at the Ballet Studios of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (364 Syngrou Avenue, 176-74, Athens, Greece).

It is announced that Iréne Theorin is forced to cancel her appearance in the production of Elektra due to health reasons

On Monday June 26th, 2017 the Greek National Opera’s Artistic Director, Giorgos Koumendakis, announced the programme for the Greek National Opera’s first official period at its new facilities at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, which will launch in October 2017 and run to July 2018.

On Monday, 19 June 2017, at 10.30 a.m. an audition for the position of three (3) male or female ballet dancers will take place at the Ballet Studios of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (364, Syngrou Avenue, 176-74, Athens, Greece).
