Tickets for our April – July 2022 productions go on sale this Monday, 7 March via ticketservices.gr/en & the GNO Box Office

Tickets for all Greek National Opera productions to be presented from April through until July 2022 on the GNO’s two stages at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) go on sale this Monday, 7 March. The programme is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) [www.SNF.org] to enhance the GNO’s artistic outreach.

Advance bookings can be made for the following events at the Stavros Niarchos Hall: the Charles Gounod opera Faust (6-17 April), conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud and directed by Renato Zanella; the second co-production in the GNO and NEON Artist on the Composer series, commissioned from Yorgos Lanthimos (6-8 May); the GNO Ballet production 3 Rooms (18-25 May), featuring choreographies by Konstantinos Rigos, Jiří Kylián, and Ohad Naharin; and the Angelos Triantafyllou opera Inland (8-13 July), conducted by Elias Voudouris and directed by Nikos Karathanos.

* Please note that tickets for our events at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Rigoletto (2-11 June) and Tosca (28-31 July), will be available to book once the Athens Epidaurus Festival launches its ticket sales later this year.

Advance bookings can be made for the following events on the Alternative Stage: the concert series Sacred Music Days / GNO Alternative Stage Piano Festival 2022 (7-10 April); the performance concert Hello to Emptiness (16, 17 April), with artistic direction and stage design by Stephanie Thiersch, and musical composition and direction by Martha Mavroidi; the Tribute to Iannis Xenakis (7, 8, 20, 22, 26 May); and the Mikis Theodorakis: Lyric Images concert (12-15 May), with music arranged by Yannis Belonis and performed by the vocalist Yannis Kotsiras (this event forms part of the GNO’s three-year Mikis Theodorakis tribute cycle).
