Greek bass-baritone and actor, he is a graduate of the Music School of Mytilene (with distinctions in regional and pan-Hellenic student artistic competitions), a graduate of the Department of Music Science and Art (University of Macedonia, specialised in vocal performance) and a graduate in advanced music theory. He continued his studies at the Contemporary Theatre – Vassilis Diamantopoulos Drama School (scholarship) and Rontidis Drama School. As a soloist, in addition to concerts, he performs roles in musical theatre performances, while also participating in minor roles in cinema and television. He collaborates with the On Stage Musical Theater Professional Team, he supervises the musical teaching in theatrical performances, while lending his voice to dubbings, radio and theatre productions, recordings of theatrical songs, choral works and musical fairy tales. As a chorist, besides the GNO, he has collaborated with the Chorus of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki, Ensemble of Ancient Greek Music “Orpheia Armonia”, etc. He is a member of the ΜΕΙΖΟΝ Ensemble. He volunteered on the scientific committee for the evaluation of the recordings of the non-profit network “Reading to the Others”.

Greek tenor, he was born in Kalamata. He began music studies in classical guitar at the Kalamata Municipal Conservatory with Yannis Mavreas. Under the guidance of Christina Yannakopoulou, he took his first steps in voice. He holds a diploma in monody with honours and first prize. He is a member of the male vocal ΜεĪZοΝ Ensemble, the mixed vocal ensemble Voice Box and the mixed choir Ambitus of the Leontios Lyceum of Nea Smyrni. He has also collaborated with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Chorus. He has recorded for Greek and foreign composers, for movies, rock albums, and commercials for renowned companies. He has attended seminars with Miltos Logiadis, Agathangelos Georgakatos and Aris Christofellis. Since 2019, he is a member of the Greek National Opera Chorus. He studies with Christina Yannakopoulou and Yannis Aeriniotis. He is a graduate of the Department of Oenology and Beverage Technology.

Greek tenor, born in Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Theatre Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received a degree in harmony under Ioannis Konditsis and in voice with the soprano Polina Masouridou. He began choral singing with the Medieval and Renaissance music ensemble Motectum Vocal Ensemble by Ioannis Vryzakis and the Choir of the National Technical University of Athens conducted by Michalis Economou, under whose direction he has also performed as a soloist. He has collaborated with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Chorus, and with conductors such as George Petrou, Markellos Chryssicos and Kostas Drakakis, in small ensembles. He has sung as a soloist in works such as Mozart’s Requiem, Il trovatore (Ruiz), Dido and Aeneas (Sailor), The Apaches of Athens (Cleon). Since 2019, he has been a permanent member of the Greek National Opera Chorus, while since 2020 he has been a member of the male vocal ΜεĪZοΝ Ensemble, under the direction of Agathangelos Georgakatos.

Greek tenor, born and raised in Athens, he studied electronic engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens while completing studies in piano, counterpoint and singing (2013). In the same year, he started studies at the Opera Studio of the Greek National Opera, completing the programme in 2015. He has collaborated with the Greek National Opera in various productions and since 2019 he is a permanent member of the GNO Chorus. As a pianist, he has collaborated with the children’s chorus of the Amphion Music Workshop and the Christodoulio Girls’ Orphanage. He was a member of the Gospel Chorus of the Terpsithea Conservatory and has also collaborated with numerous music ensembles accross a wide range of musical genres. He has taught piano, singing and music theory at the Centre for Education and Rehabilitation for the Blind to visually impaired people as well as singing at the Terpsithea Conservatory.

Greek mezzo-soprano, born in Athens, she started her music studies at an early age. She holds diplomas in piano (Eleni Hallecker's class), fugue, singing (National Conservatoire of Athens, Greece, Stamatis Beris' class) as well as in harmony and counterpoint. She has completed a series of seminars in the Orff system at the National Conservatoire, Athens, Greece. She has worked for six years as a deputy teacher in piano and as a children’s chorus mistress at the Ilion Music High School as well as in others public schools. She has collaborated as a chorister from 2000 with the Athens Municipal Choir, Chorus of Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and Greek National Opera Chorus (2008). From 2019 she is a permanent member of the GNO Chorus. She has also collaborated with many choirs such as En fones, Eklipsis, 8etto and with distinguished artists and composers such as Alkinoos Ioannidis, Yannis Markopoulos and others. Moreover, she teaches piano and singing at the Hellenic Conservatory in Athens and is a member of the Equábili Vocal Ensemble conducted by Agathangelos Georgakatos.

Greek mezzo-soprano, she studied piano and monody (diploma with distinction, first prize and gold medal). She continued her studies at the Indiana University, from where she obtained an MA in music performance (graduating with honours and distinction). She has been honoured with the title of Laureate and has received award at the Klassicheskoe Nasledie competition (Moscow), Budapest-Miskolc International Opera Festival (Hungary), and Canetti International Music Festival (Hungary). She is a founding member of the UIACX Ensemble, which specialises in experimental art and the performance of contemporary and electronic music, under the composer Keith Moore. She has given concerts (oratorio, lied) in Greece, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Czech Republic, France, and USA. Her roles include Third Lady and Boy (Die Zauberflöte), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Olga (Eugene Onegin) and Bradamante (Alcina). She has also composed music for dance theatre and short documentaries. Since 2001, she has been a member of the Greek National Opera Chorus.

Greek mezzo-soprano, she was born in Athens. She holds a diploma in monody from the Music Horizons Conservatory (class of Margarita Syngeniotou), continuing her studies in classical singing with Christina Yannakopoulou and Yannis Aeriniotis. At the same time, she has studied classical guitar with Dimitris Tzimeas. She has collaborated as a soloist with the contemporary opera group The Medium Project, the Greek Composers’ Union and the Symphony Orchestra of the Athens Municipality. She has been a permanent member of the Ambitus chorus and participates in the Equábili female vocal ensemble and the Voice Box mixed vocal ensemble. She has recorded for Greek and foreign composers while she is active as a backing vocalist in recordings and concerts of the contemporary music scene. From 2013 she has been working with the Greek National Opera as an additional chorus member and since 2021 she has been a GNO Chorus permanent member.

Greek soprano, she was born in Athens. She studied singing at the National Conservatory with Eleni Stamidou (diploma with honours and first prize) as well as piano and harmony. She has studied under the conductors Nicolas Vassiliou and Markellos Chryssicos, mezzo-soprano Rosa Poulimenou, while she still continues studying under mezzo-soprano Mary-Ellen Nesi. During 2018/19 she participated in the Greek National Opera project ‘Youth Opera’. She has sung Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Page (Rigoletto) as well as Lieder in concerts at the Olympia Theatre. She has collaborated, as a chorister, with the Chorus of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, with such vocal ensembles as Equábili Vocal Ensemble, while since 2021 she is a permanent member of the Greek National Opera Chorus.

Greek soprano, she started music at the age of six. She studied piano (diploma and first prize) and counterpoint. She graduated with honours from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University in Corfu while she completed her postgraduate studies at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, with honours and distinction. She was a finalist at the Unesco International Music Competition (2014). She has performed roles such as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Adina, Giannetta (L’elisir d’amore), Gilda (Rigoletto), Spirit (Dido and Aeneas) as well as the solo parts of Mozart’s and Haydn’s Requiem, Haydn’s Mass in D minor, Allegri’s Miserere, etc. She has sung in Italy, Spain, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic and has taught singing to students of chorus direction at the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. Moreover, she teaches singing and piano, and from 2019 she is a member of the GNO Chorus.

Ukrainian soprano, she graduated with honours in classical singing from the Taras Shevchenko University of Culture and Art in Luhansk. At the same university, she continued her postgraduate studies (in musical art) and obtained a diploma (magistratura) with honours. In Greece she studied monody (diploma with honours) at the Athens Conservatoire (class of Kiki Morfoniou). In addition, she continued her studies at the Ionian University with Aris Christofellis, at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts with Claudia Visca and in Romania with Marina Krilovici. She is a member of the GNO Chorus, while she has also collaborated with the Chorus of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. She teaches singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Filothei-Psychiko. She has participated in concerts, competitions and music festivals in Greece, Ukraine (first prize of singing at the Yalta International Festival), and Russia (second prize of singing at the Volgograd competition).

    Practical information:

    - Audience members can enter all venues for free, on a first come first served basis. No advance booking is required.

    - Due to the limited space available in many of the festival venues, some of the concerts will be repeated up to three times per day, to give the chance to as large an audience as possible to attend them.

    - The concerts of the festival will be of short duration (from 25 to 40 minutes on average), so that audience members can attend more than one, if they wish so.

    - The distance from one venue to the other is small, so that audience members have the chance to enjoy many of the festival events.

    - The detailed programme will be available online at nationalopera.gr and digitalculture.gov.gr, while the printed programme that will be distributed to the public will include a map with all the venues, summary descriptions of the events, and QR codes referring to the detailed programme on the GNO website.

    - All preventive measures against COVID-19 will be adhered to in all venues.
