KSENIA DORODOVA

Russian soprano and an artist of the Anton Rubinstein Academy, she was born in Votkinsk. She graduated from the Izhevsk Republican Music College (Natalia Tsiglyaeva’s class) and the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatoire with honours, where she studied under Professor Lilia Polyakova. She has participated in masterclasses led by Teodor Currentzis, Jennifer Larmore, Dmitry Vdovin and Mikhail Kizin. She is a diploma holder of the Alisa Gitsba International Competition (Sukhum, 2023), Natalia Shpiller International Competition (Moscow, 2018) and Igor Stravinsky International Competition (St Petersburg, 2022). She is the winner of the Alexander Nemtin International Competition (2nd prize, Perm, 2023), the All-Russian Vocal Competition (St Petersburg, 2024), as well as ‘The Song’ International Remote Vocal and Choral Competition (2nd prize, Italy, 2021). In the 2025/26 season, she joined the Anton Rubinstein Academy, founded by musicAeterna and Teodor Currentzis, and made her debut with the Academy and the musicAeterna Orchestra under Currentzis in Hændel.
