American soprano, she is considered one of the most sought-after artists of her generation. She has gained international acclaim for her interpretations of Wagnerian roles such as Senta (Der fliegende Holländer), Elisabeth and Venus (Tannhäuser) and Brünnhilde (Die Walküre), as well as dramatic roles such as Salome, Turandot, Färberin (Die Frau ohne Schatten) and Elektra. In 2016, she performed Brünnhilde in her first-ever full Ring Cycle for Opera Australia. She has appeared on the stages of the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, San Francisco Opera, Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House in London (Covent Garden), La Scala, Bavarian State Opera (Munich), Deutsche Oper Berlin, Dresden State Opera, Hamburg State Opera, New Orleans Opera, Greek National Opera, San Diego Opera, Seoul Arts Centre, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Arena di Verona, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Polish National Opera, Dallas Opera, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Rome Opera. She first collaborated with the Greek National Opera in the production of Tannhäuser (2009).
