MANOS KOKKONIS

Greek tenor, born in Αthens, he graduated with honours from the Department of Music Studies (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki). He studied classical singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata with full scholarship (2021–2022) and received his diploma with honours and first prize (Christina Yannakopoulou’s class). He has performed, among others, Duke (Karagiozis as Rigoletto, GNO Alternative Stage), Normanno (Lucia di Lammermoor), Giuseppe (La traviata), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas), Menalkas (Galatea, world premiere), Vasily (Prince Ivan and the Firebird). As a soloist, he has sung in gala operas in Greece and abroad. He has attended masterclasses with Luciana D’Intino, Jack Li Vigni, Gianluca Terranova, Andrew Owens, Marilyn Petersen, Fabio Centanni, Massimo Morelli, Ulrich Rademacher, Aris Christofellis, Dimitri Platanias, Tassis Christoyannis, etc. During 2019–2024, he was a soloist in the Hellenic Navy Band, participating in events at the Presi-dential Mansion as well as in cultural events of public and private institutions in Greece and abroad. Since 2021 he has been collaborating regularly with the GNO.
