Russian mezzo-soprano, she has performed in prestigious theatres and festivals, including Opéra national de Paris, La Scala (Milan), Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Dutch National Opera, Salzburg Festival, Vienna State Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Lyric Opera Chicago, Zurich Opera, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall. Member of the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra national de Paris, Accademia Rossiniana (Pesaro) and the Salzburg Festival Young Singers Programme, she came to international attention in 2010 at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival in La Betulia liberata (cond. Riccardo Muti). She was a member of the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera (2011–2014). Recent seasons highlight the addition of such roles as Dalila (Samson et Dalila), Olga (Eugene Onegin), Federica (Luisa Miller), Baba the Turk (The Rake’s Progress), Begbick (Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny), Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Foreign princess (Rusalka), Verdi’s Requiem, Jocasta (Oedipus Rex), Neris (Medea), Ascanio (Ascanio in Alba), Amneris (Aida), Carmen. She appears as a soloist with major orchestras worldwide. She has collaborated again with the GNO in Madama Butterfly (2023) and La Gioconda (2025).
