ALISA KOLOSOVA

Russian mezzo-soprano, she has performed to great acclaim in prestigious theatres and festivals worldwide, including Opéra national de Paris, La Scala (Milan), Bavarian State Opera, Salzburg Festival, Vienna State Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Kennedy Center (Washington) and Carnegie Hall (New York). Member of the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra national de Paris and of the Salzburg Festival Young Singers Programme, Kolosova came to international attention in 2010 at Salzburg Whitsun Festival, performing in Mozart’s La Betulia liberata (cond. Riccardo Muti). She was a member of the ensemble of Vienna State Opera (2011-2014), where she sang Polina (The Queen of Spades), Olga (Eugene Onegin), Fenena (Nabucco), Annio (La clemenza di Tito), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly). She has collaborated with such conductors as Ivor Bolton, Vasily Petrenko, Alain Altinoglu, Andris Nelsons, Gianandrea Noseda, Franz Welser-Möst, William Christie, Marin Alsop, Sir Andrew Davis, Lothar Zagrosek, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Gustavo Dudamel, interpreting leading roles. Highly in demand in concert, she has sung as a soloist worldwide with prestigious orchestras. She first collaborated with the GNO in Madama Butterfly (2023).
