ANNA PIROZZI

Italian dramatic coloratura soprano, she is considered one of the most soughtafter sopranos internationally. Shortly after her debut in 2012 at the Teatro Regio in Turin as Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), she was invited to the world’s greatest opera houses including Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London), MET, La Scala (Milan), Opéra national de Paris, Vienna State Opera, Arena di Verona, Teatro Real Madrid, San Francisco Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Bavarian State Opera, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Valencia), Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Τeatro Comunale di Bologna, NCPA Beijing, Teatro Regio in Parma, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Opéra Bastille (Paris). She has performed many leading roles such as Mad- dalena di Coigny (Andrea Chénier), Turandot, Lucrezia (I due Foscari), Aida, Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Abigaille (Nabucco), Adriana Lecouvreur, Madama Butterfly and Medea, under the baton of leading conductors (Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Nicola Luisotti, etc). She studied at the Music Institute of the Valle d’Aosta (Italy) and then at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory (Turin). She has sung again for the GNO (Medea, “Callas at the Herodium”, 2023).
