DIAMANTI KRITSOTAKI

Greek mezzo-soprano, she was born in Heraklion, Crete, into a family of musicians. She holds a singing diploma and a master’s degree in classical singing from the University of Augsburg (Germany). She has performed as a soloist in more than thirty opera productions as well as in concerts and contemporary performances in Greece, Italy and Germany. She has appeared at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, Olympia City Music Theatre ‘Maria Callas’, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Augsburg State Theatre and Cultural Conference Centre of Heraklion, Crete. Since 2013 she has a regular collaboration with the Greek National Opera, working alongside internationally renowned conductors and stage directors. She has participated in major festivals and concerts featuring Greek and international art music repertoire, ranging from the Baroque period to works by contemporary composers in world premieres. In addition, she teaches classical singing and coordinates artistic projects and solo recitals.
