CHRISTOS RAMMOPOULOS

Greek baritone, he studied singing with Marina Krilovici. He holds a degree in philology (NKUA) and a master’s degree in music pedagogy (Ionian University). He made his debut in Perouze with the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra. He has performed Benoît (La bohème, Thessaloniki Concert Hall), Zacharoulis (The Godson), while he participated in the production L’Homme qui rit (National Theatre of Greece). Since 2018 he has been a member of the Oedipus Rex chorus (Vakhtangov Theatre, Moscow). At the GNO he performed in My Fair Lady, Los títeres de Cachiporra, The Secret of the Attica Rivers, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Offenbach’s La Belle Hélène, MOIROLÓI, La traviata, The Athlete’s Symphony. He dubbed the role of Sven (Playmobil: The Movie). He has collaborated with Theo Abazis, Giannos Perlegas, Yannis Kalavrianos, Theodoros Espiritou, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Rimas Tuminas, Lukas Karytinos, Michalis Economou, Michalis Papapetrou, Valery Oreshkin, Philippe Forget, Alexandros Mouzas, etc. Since 2023 he has been a regular member of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Chorus. He has published the book The Exit of Messolonghi in Αrt (Grigori Editions), while his articles have been published in conference proceedings and academic journals.
