Yiannis Niarros

Actor and musician Yiannis Niarros was born in Athens. He graduated from the National Theatre of Greece Drama School. He has performed in the plays: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Oresteia, Amadeus, The Gamblers, The Big Bed, Sleep, Stella, 1821 – The Revue, Demons, Quay West, Crime and Punishment, Penthesilea. In 2018, he was awarded the Horn Award for his interpretation of Giorgos Gerakaris in Sleep, Stella (2017). In 2019, he was awarded the Athinorama Award for Best Actor for his interpretation of Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (2018). He participated in the films: Mythopathy (2016), Defunct (2019), Ein Atem (2015), Μediterraneo (2021), Embryo Larva Butterfly (2021), Sisters Apart (2020), Βrando With a Glass Eye (2022). In 2019, he co-wrote and co-directed with Vassilis Magouliotis the music stand-up Life Before Grammys.
