Maria Grampsa

She is a graduate of the Athens Conservatoire (diploma in voice, class of Despina Kalafati), the Orpheio Conservatory of Athens (diploma in piano) and an undergraduate of the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She attended acting, movement and improvisation classes at the Theatre of Changes (Athens) and she completed three years of opera training with Kostas Paskalis. She has studied dance and has attended voice, acting, breathing and performance seminars. She has also attended music theatre classes (acting, voice, repertoire, dance) at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She has repeatedly collaborated with the Greek National Opera as a chorister (Acropol Theatre, οperetta) and with the GNO Alternative Stage as a soloist (My Fair Lady, Into the Woods); she has also sung leading musical theatre roles in independent productions. As a chorister and soloist, she has collaborated with the ​Ensembles of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation and the Athens Municipality, Armonia Atenea and Mikis Theodorakis Orchestra. She also teaches voice and piano and works in dubbing and as a music coach in theatre and music productions.
