LOUKAS BAKAS

Greek architect and set designer, his work ranges from architecture and exhibition design to the design of visual installations and sets. His works have been presented at major festivals and international stages such as Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris), Sadler’s Wells (London), Saitama Arts Theatre (Tokyo) and Brooklyn Academy of Music (New York). In Greece he has collaborated with such organisations as the National Theatre of Greece, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Greek National Opera and Onassis Foundation. His work includes sets for such works as Elenit directed by Euripides Laskaridis (2019–2023), Transverse Orientation directed by Dimitris Papaioannou (2021–2022), Molière’s L’École des femmes directed by Alexandros Mylonas (National Theatre of Greece, 2024) as well as the design of the exhibitions Plásmata II: Ioannina (Ioannina, 2023) and Plásmata 3 | We’ve met before, haven’t we? (Pedion tou Areos Park, Athens, 2025) by the Onassis Stegi.
