NIKOS KYRIOSOGLOU

He studied piano in Greece with Fani Karagianni, Nikos Tassopoulos and Tatiana Papa- dopoulou (diploma with honours, first prize, Thessaloniki State Conservatory), while he graduated with honours (specialisation in piano) from the Department of Music Science and Art (University of Macedonia). He continued his studies in Italy, Germany and Belgium, while he is an honours graduate of the Higher Music Academy of Freiburg. He has studied with leading pianists who had a catalytic effect on his musical formation such as Hans Leygraf, Bernard Ringeissen, Roberto Szidon, Pi-Hsien Chen. He performs regularly a very wide repertoire in Greece and abroad. He has collaborated with the Thessaloniki State Conservatory Orchestra, Freiburg Academy Symphony Orchestra, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Thessaloniki Municipality Symphonic Orchestra, Athens State Orchestra, National Symphonic Orchestra of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, while he is a founding member of the Contra Tempo Chamber Orchestra. He has been awarded in pan-Hellenic and international piano competitions and has collaborated with prestigious artists and musical ensembles. He has recorded (HBC, EBU, Radio France, Mezzo), he is artistic programming consultant for the Thessaloniki Piano Festival, while he teaches at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the Department of Music Science and Art.
