TOTA PRITSA

She studied set design at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos. She began her career in 1985 with the film The Photograph by Nikos Papatakis. Since 1987 she has worked extensively in theatre, initially as an assistant set designer alongside George Patsas, with whom she collaborated on more than 250 productions. As a set and costume designer, she has worked with leading stage directors and theatre organisations. She has also been involved in film and television productions. At the Greek National Opera, she is Head of the Costume Department, responsible for the coordination and the implemen-tation of the costume requirements of all the productions. In addition, she has designed and supervised sets and costumes for numerous performances presented at the Olympia Theatre, Acropol Theatre and Stavros Niarchos Hall, such as Christina, The Girl of the Neighbourhood, Don Quixote, La finta giardiniera, Otello, Nabucco, The Snow Queen. With more than 40 years of experience, she has worked on over 300 productions.
