Panos Iliopoulos

Born in Nafplio. He studied music theory and composition with Konstantinos Nonis and Christos Zerbinos, piano with Νikos Tsalikis and Stavros Kollias at the Municipal Conservatory of Nafplion and the Orpheio Conservatory of Athens, as well as musicology at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens .He continued his studies in composition and piano with Sidney Corbett and Paul Dan at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts (Germany). He studied historical keyboards and harpsichord at the Early Music Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Menno van Delft, Richard Egarr, Miklós Spanyi and Kris Verhelst, obtaining Master of Music. As a composer and performer, he has participated in concerts and festivals throughout Europe, as well as in recordings and broadcasts of several state broadcasting corporations such as Third Programme of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, Deutschlandradio Kultur and SWR (Germany), ORF (Austria), Radio 4 / NPO2 (Netherlands) and for the record labels Etcetera and Passacaille (Belgium). He has taught historical improvisation seminars at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, early music interpretation at the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia, as well as harpsichord and organ at the School of Music Studies of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
