Ksenia Shevtsova

Russian ballet dancer, she graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (St Petersburg). In 2018, she won the Bolshoi Ballet’s Best Ballerina Nomination Project, and in 2019, the Soul of Dance Award. That same year, she was appointed Prima Ballerina at the Stanislavsky Theatre. In December 2023, she joined the Bavarian State Ballet as a First Soloist and was promoted to Prima Ballerina in 2024. Her repertoire includes such roles as Sylphide, Tatiana (Onegin), Nikiya / Gamzatti (La Bayadère), Odette / Odile (Swan Lake), Manon, Kitri (Don Quixote), Giselle and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet). She has also performed demanding roles in works by renowned choreographers including Roland Petit, Yuri Possokhov, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, and Alexei Ratmansky.
