Constantine Allen

Born in Indianapolis (USA), with Greek heritage, he spent most of his early life in Hawaii, where he began dancing at the age of five. His talent became evident early, when he won a bronze medal at the Youth America Grand Prix competition in New York (junior category, 2007). He studied on scholarship at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, under Vladimir Djouloukhadze and Anatoly Kucheruk (2007–2010). He then attended the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, under the guidance of Peter Pestov and Tadeusz Matacz. His career soared in 2011 when he won the Grand Prix at the Tanzolymp competition in Berlin. Shortly after graduating, he joined the Stuttgart Ballet as a Corps de ballet member and was promoted to Demi-Soloist within six months, becoming a Principal Dancer in 2014. He later joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, while also appearing as a guest Soloist with the Dutch National Ballet, where he is currently a Principal Dancer.
