Eleni Voudouraki

Greek mezzo-soprano, she was born in Athens. She studied voice with George Zervanos (diploma). She is a member of the English National Opera Studio (London) and Solti Te Kanawa Accademia di Bel Canto. She has attended masterclasses with Ghena Dimitrova, Robert Lloyd, Dennis O’Neill, Kiri Te Kanawa and Helmuth Rilling. She has collaborated with the Greek National Opera, Athens Concert Hall, Athens and Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestras, Greek National Opera Chamber Orchestra, Kiel Opera House, The Beggars’ Operas, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, OperaLab Athens, Opera Festival of Ancient Corinth, Athens Chamber Orchestra. She has sung oratorios, symphonic works and roles in such operas as Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Ariadne auf Naxos, Aida, Rusalka, Madama Butterfly, Rigoletto, Carmen, Νorma, Marathon-Salamis, The Tsar’s Bride, Die Frau ohne Schatten. She made her debut at Glyndebourne Opera as Angelina (La Cenerentola), she sang Costanza (Haydn’s L’isola disabitata) at the Vienna Chamber Opera as well as Anna (Maria Stuarda) at the Athens Concert Hall (a production of Teatro alla Scala, Milan).
