Fylli Georgiadou

Greek soprano, she was born in Athens. She studied cello and singing and received a diploma in monody with Yorgos Zervanos. She has also studied with Lydia Angelopoulou, George Pappas, Despina Koromantzou and Nicolas Vassiliou. Moreover, she attended seminars with Helmut Rilling, Ghena Dimitrova and Aris Christofellis. She has participated in international singing competitions. She has sung in productions of the Children’s Stage of the Greek National Opera such as Der Freischütz (Änchen), Orphée aux enfers (Eurydice), Hänsel und Gretel (Taumädchen), as well as in Carmen (Frasquita) at the Festival of the Aegean. She participated as Rosina in the educational programme of the Greek National Opera The Barber of Seville. She has also taken part in the productions of the GNO Macbeth (Appari- tion), Příhody lišky Bystroušky (Pepik), Lohengrin (Young Noble). She has been a permanent member of the GNO Chorus since 2007. Moreover, she is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens, as well as of the Department of Political Science and History of Panteion University.
