300 free tickets reserved for the unemployed at Carmen’s dress rehearsal on Tuesday 6 February 2024 at 19.00, in the Stavros Niarchos Hall at the SNFCC

 

 

As part of it social mission, the Greek National Opera is offering 300 free tickets to the unemployed to attend the dress rehearsal of Carmen on Tuesday 6 February 2024 at 19.00 in the Stavros Niarchos Hall, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

With the goal of providing as many fellow citizens as possible the chance to attend its performances, the Greek National Opera continues to offer free tickets to the unemployed for the dress rehearsals of its productions at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, in the summer.

The Ballet of the Greek National Opera presents a new production of Carmen, choreographed by the renowned Swedish choreographer Johan Inger, which was first performed in Madrid by the National Ballet of Spain (Compañía Nacional de Danza,) in 2015. From 7 February 2024 and for a run of six singular performances in the Stavros Niarchos Hall of the GNO at the SNFCC, conducted by Ektoras Tartanis. The production is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) [www.SNF.org] to enhance the Greek National Opera’s artistic outreach

Free tickets for the dress rehearsal will be distributed at the Ticket Services Box Office (39 Panepistimou st, Pesmazoglou arcade), upon showing your unemployment card/certificate and ID document, on Monday 5 February, from 12.00 to 17.00. Please take note that each unemployment card/certificate holder can receive up to two tickets for the dress rehearsal. Information: 2130885700.
