Greek National Opera Programme Announcement September to December 2020 | Restart

 The Greek National Opera announces the September to December 2020 programme for its two stages at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Stavros Niarchos Hall and the Alternative Stage.
After the pandemic and the suspension of its performances, the GNO restarts its programme and presents opera, ballet, and concerts at the Stavros Niarchos Hall and music theatre, dance, festivals, concerts, chamber opera and musicals on the Alternative Stage.

More specifically, the Stavros Niarchos Hall will host:
•    Madama Butterfly
•    250 years of Beethoven
•    Don Quixote
•    Don Giovanni

And the Alternative Stage will present:
•    Epitaphios (1958), Dionysus (1985)
•    Europa
•    Human Behaviour
•    Beethoven’s piano works
•    Four seasons
•    Akhmatova’s Requiem & The anniversary
•    Liver
•    The events
•    Into the Woods

Ticket presale starts in September.
