Greek National Opera inaugurates the Manos Hadjidakis Cycle, which will take place from 2017 to 2020 at both GNO venues at the SNFCC, in collaboration with Giorgos Hadjidakis and the Manos Hadjidakis Archive.
For the first time two unpublshed works will be presented to the public: Rome 1970 and Five Piano Improvisations.
On the first evening, on December 2, 2017, the following works will be presented: Ionian Suite, Rome 1970, For a little white seashell, Erimia, The accursed snake.
On the second evening, on December 3, 2017, the following works will be presented: For a little white seashell, Five Piano Improvisations, Rhythmology, Six folk paintings, The accursed snake.
The works will be performed by two leading pianists of our age, Stefanos Thomopoulos and Thodoris Tzovanakis.
