Chopin in love

After the four sold-out performances of Yannik Boquin's Chopin in Love at the wonderful Piraeus Municipal Theatre, last May, the GNO Ballet revisits the scene of the crime. Boquin's dreamy choreography – resting on Chopin's romantic scores, performed in a gripping manner by internationally acclaimed Greek pianist, George-Emmanuel Lazaridis – emotionally engaged the wide audience, who loved it. Consequently, the production of the GNO Ballet is up on the stage again for four performances in October, attesting with the best possible way the ongoing co-operation between the Greek National Opera and the Piraeus Municipal Theatre, which has many interesting productions in store for the public in the near future.

The leading roles are performed by: Maria Kousouni, Vangelis Bikos, Evrydiki Issaakidou, Danilo Zeka, Thanassis Solomos, Igor Siadzko.
