A dialogue between the voice and the violoncello. A musical synergy. Music and text intertwine to reveal a personal expression, a supreme mystery, a confidential declaration of love. Through the use of a rondo structure, contemporary compositional methods and classical romantic harmony, Dimitris Dimitriadis' Sonnet No. 21 gives audiences the opportunity to closely engage in the act of confession, almost immersing themselves in it. “In that instant, man is propelled to great heights, reaching the pinnacle of his being.”

He has participated in various seminars on music composition and performance arts. His works have been featured in many contemporary classical music festivals throughout Greece and have won distinctions in competitions.

Dimitris Dimitriadis

He was born in Thessaloniki in 1944. In 1963 he went to Brussels to study theatre and cinema, at the I. N. S. A. S. (Institut National des Arts du Spectacle), on a scholarship from the Belgian government. In 1968, his first play Η Τιμή της Ανταρσίας στην Μαύρη Αγορά (The Price of Mutiny on the Black Market) was staged by  Patrice Chéreau in Paris, at the Théâtre de la Commune d’Aubervilliers, in a production by Théâtre de Sartrouville. Upon returning to Greece, in 1971, he became actively involved in the field of translation. His personal work began in 1978 with the novel Πεθαίνω σαν χώρα (I Am Dying Like a Country), followed by the poetry collection Κατάλογοι 1-4 (Catalogues 1-4) in 1980. At the same time, he continued  writing numerous plays, prose pieces, and novels.

Thodoris Voutsikakis

He has stood out for his collaborations with renowned creators, his starring roles in music theatre, and, most importantly, his distinctive performance style and unique artistic temperament. His longstanding collaboration with Lina Nikolakopoulou resulted in his first major solo tour influenced by her artistic vision, and in his album collaboration with Oscar-winning Italian composer Nikola Piovani, including the song  «Είναι όμορφη η ζωή» (Life is Beautiful). He took audiences and critics by storm with his performance as Erotocritus in the 2017 GNO production of the same title, featuring music by Dimitris Maramis. This confirmed the generous reception he had already enjoyed since his first appearance in Greek music life with the album “Αισθηματική ηλικία” (“Sentimental Age”). Ηe has collaborated with Stavros Xarchakos, Christos Leontis, Dimitris Papadimitriou, Nikos Xydakis, Daphne Alexandri, Dulce Pontes, Maria Farantouri, Marios Frangoulis, Athens State Orchestra, and others. His diverse studies in singing, music theatre, and law, his family’s rich music library, his love for cinema, and the inexhaustible inspiration from Greek culture have shaped his artistic background.

Alexandros Botinis

He studied violoncello in Greece (Municipal Conservatory of Patras), France (Conservatoire de Versailles) and Russia (Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, Moscow). He has given many performances in Greece and abroad and has collaborated with a long list of artists including Ergon Ensemble, Artefacts Ensemble, Tetraktys quartet, SCORPIONS, Eleni Karaindrou, Maria Farantouri, Ilias Andriopoulos, and Stavros Lantsias. He has also participated in numerous productions by organizations like the Greek National Opera, Athens State Orchestra, Onassis Stegi, and Athens Epidaurus Festival. Among other things, he has performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Vienna Concert Hall, the National Theatre of Paris, and the National Theatre of Mannheim. He has recorded music with Eleni Karaindrou for one of Terrence Malick's films. He has performed as a soloist with the Patras Orchestra and the ERT Symphony Orchestra. Moreover, he has undertaken the musical supervision of the theatre performance Τα κλειδιά-για μια δυνατή ζωή (The Keys For a Strong Life). His concerts and recordings cover a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary music. He is a member of the ERT National Symphony Orchestra.
