“Closer than ever to the Greek National Opera”
The Greek National Opera launches a new, innovative membership programme.
Registrations begin on 29/10 at operaclub.nationalopera.gr.

Opera Club is a new, innovative membership programme that aims to bring opera lovers closer to the magical world of the Greek National Opera. Through a world of exclusive benefits and unique experiences, the GNO Opera Club creates a large community that actively supports opera and ballet. Opera Club is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) to enhance the GNO’s artistic outreach.

Having achieved an impressive audience growth since beginning operations at the SNFCC in 2017, the GNO responds to a lasting demand from opera and ballet lovers by launching, for the first time, a membership programme specifically designed for them.

With four different membership packages, the GNO Opera Club aims to attract new friends who want to get to know the art of opera, passionate melodrama audiences, opera connoisseurs who travel worldwide to attend performances, and those whose knowledge, experience, and love for opera have anointed them as opera ambassadors.

From priority booking for tickets and discounts on ticket packages to members-only exclusive events, access to rehearsals and backstages, as well as special benefits in parking, at Opera bars, and restaurants in the SNFCC, Opera Club members will develop a close and privileged relationship with the GNO.

The four membership categories are:
The Opera Friends category, with an annual fee of €50, is the first step for new opera enthusiasts to get to know the fascinating world of the Greek National Opera.

The benefits of Opera Friends include: priority ticket booking (one day earlier), a 10% discount on GNO products, a 20% discount on performance programmes, a 7% discount on ticket packages, access to dress rehearsals in the Stavros Niarchos Hall, members-only educational programmes, and a GNO TV pass for online viewing of one performance.

The Opera Lovers category, with an annual fee of €100, is targeted at the loyal friends of opera and dance, offering them a unique journey into the inner sanctum of the GNO.
The benefits of Opera Lovers include: priority ticket booking (3 days earlier), a 12% discount on GNO products, a 50% discount on performance programmes, a 10% discount on ticket packages, access to dress rehearsals in the Stavros Niarchos Hall, members-only educational programmes, a GNO TV pass for online viewing of three performances, and one welcome drink at the GNO Opera bars.

The Opera Connaisseurs category, with an annual fee of €400, offers a world of privileges within the GNO artistic family.
The benefits of Opera Connaisseurs include: priority ticket booking (5 days earlier), a 15% discount on GNO products, free performance programmes, a 15% discount on ticket packages, access to dress rehearsals in the Stavros Niarchos Hall, members-only educational programmes, a GNO TV pass for unlimited online viewing of performances, and two welcome drinks at the GNO Opera bars. Moreover, this category offers a prepaid parking card for SNFCC parking, GNO backstage tours, access to members-only lectures, invitations to post-premiere receptions, and free ticket cancellation.

The Opera Ambassadors category, with an annual fee of €1,400, offers exclusive VIP experiences and unique discounts.
The benefits of Opera Ambassadors include: priority ticket booking (7 days earlier), a 20% discount on GNO products, free performance programmes, a 20% discount on ticket packages, access to dress rehearsals in the Stavros Niarchos Hall, members-only educational programmes, a GNO TV pass for unlimited online viewing of performances, and four welcome drinks at the GNO Opera bars. Moreover, this category offers a prepaid parking card for SNFCC parking, GNO backstage tours, access to members-only lectures, invitations to post-premiere receptions, free ticket cancellation, an invitation to one exclusive event, a light meal at the DELTA restaurant, and participation in an exclusive travelling experience on the occasion of a performance/event.

Registrations for the GNO Opera Club can be made online at operaclub.nationalopera.gr., at the Opera Club‘s specially designed space in the GNO Foyer, which will be open during the days and times of the performances, as well as at the GNO Box Office in the SNFCC (9.00–21.00 daily).
