A few words about the Intercultural Choir

The Intercultural Choir started off its journey in 2016 with a diverse group of Athenians and the goal of bringing together different nationalities and musical traditions. Since then, its members have been joining their voices and bringing out every time the immediacy and power of singing and music, through their concerts and artistic collaborations. The Intercultural Choir already has many members. Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, Cameroon, Slovakia, Tanzania, New Guiney, Syria, Cyprus, United Kingdom, France, USA, Kenya, Iran, Iraq and Greece are just a few of the countries of origin of its members, who have participated in the Choir over its seven-year-long course. This year, it expands its repertoire even further, by combining songs of the world’s folk traditions with contemporary vocal music. For yet another year, the connection between voice and body, movement and improvisation are its basic tools for promoting musical co-creation and free expression.

The concert will also feature a stunning light show that will amaze the audience.
