Audition announcement for Ballet Dancers

The Greek National Opera hereby announces an audition to engage nine (9) male or female ballet dancers. The audition will take place on Sunday 17 March and Monday 18 March 2019, at the Ballet studios of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (364 Syngrou Ave., GR-17674).

• Interested parties who wish to apply must send the following supporting documents by 12:00 hours Greek time on Tuesday, 19 February 2019 to the email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. : a) this application form, b) their CV, c) a photograph, d) a video with a classical or neoclassical variation and e) this consent form duly filled out and signed.
Application forms not accompanied by the said information will not be accepted.
The consent form must be filled out by interested parties after they have read the GNO’s CV Policy.
• Applications from dancers born between 1.1.1991 and 31.12.1999 will be accepted.
• Only dancers who are invited to participate may attend the audition. The invitation and audition schedule will be sent to dancers by email no later than Tuesday 26.2.2019.
• Contracts entered into with the dancers hired will be one (1) year fixed term employment contracts. To be engaged by GNO successful applicants must provide all the relevant documentation (Tax Reg. No., National Ins. No., work permit if they are foreigners, etc.) and be tax registered in Greece.
• The auditions may be recorded to video for archival purposes.

Decisions will be announced on Friday 22.3.2019 on the GNO’s official website.
