1500 free tickets to the unemployed for the Dress Rehearsal of Aida

The Greek National Opera, within the framework of its social policy and with the intention to assure access for all citizens to cultural goods, provides free tickets to the unemployed for the Dress Rehearsal of its first summer production at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

The GNO opens this year’s Athens Festival with Giuseppe Verdi’s magnificent opera Aida, to be performed on 10, 11, 12 and 15 June 2016 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. This popular work gets a fresh reading in a show first produced by the renowned Taormina Opera Festival, conducted by Myron Michailidis and Elias Voudouris, and directed by Enrico Castiglione. A constellation of renowned Greek and foreign opera singers take part in the production.

Unemployment card holders can collect their free tickets showing their identity document at the Olympia Theater box office (Akadimias 59-61, 210 366 2100) on the following days and hours

  • Tuesday, June 7: 14.00 - 21.00
  • Wednesday, June 8: 10.00 - 21.00
