Songs from Slovenia and Slovakia

A somewhat different evening, featuring vocal works from less known traditions coming from countries with a long and significant music heritage. The audience will enjoy works written by important Slovenian and Slovakian composers (e.g. Schneider, Suchoň, Iršai, Lajovic, Pavčič, et. al.) in a variety of idioms ranging from the respective National Music Schools to exclusively Central European trends.
