The Greek National Opera within the framework of its expansive cultural programming presents a unique lyrical evening with masterpieces of the operatic repertoire in the exquisite neoclassical building of the Municipal Art Gallery of Piraeus.
The students-soloists of GNO's Opera Studio will perform famous arias from favorite works of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart (1756-1791), Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835), Jacques Offenbach (1819-1880), Charles Gounod (1818-1893), Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901), Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904), Léo Delibes (1836-1891), Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), Johann Strauss II (1825-1899) and Georges Bizet (1838-1875).
With Sotiria Giannoudi (soprano), Dimitra Kotidou (soprano), Roxanne Papadimitriou (soprano), Vasiliki Tsiliakou (mezzo), Maxim Klonovsky (bass), Nikos Vassiliou (piano).
