Nikos Ziaziaris

Baritone (baryton-martin), he holds degrees in piano, harmony and law (2010) as well as a master’s degree in music education (2020). He is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Music Studies, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He performs as a soloist in Greece and abroad (China, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Vatican City). He has performed, among others, Ménélas (Offenbach’s La belle Hélène, Kornilios Selamsis, Greek National Opera, 2022/23), Danilo (Die lustige Witwe, Olympia – Maria Callas Municipal Theatre, 2019/20), Konstantis (The Silent One, Dimitra Trypani, GNO Alternative Stage, 2019), Compère-Narrator (The Hauntings, Dimitris Maramis, Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, 2019), Tenor (Master Class, Terrence McNally, Mikro Horn Theatre, 2019), Lord Farquaad (Shrek, the Musical, David Lindsay-Abaire, National Theatre of Greece Main Stage, 2014/15). As a conductor and music learning instructor he has worked for El Sistema Greece (2016-18), the British Council and UNICEF (2017-19), as well as for the Learning & Participation Department of the Greek National Opera (2020-23).
