Kostis Rasidakis

Greek baritone, he was born in Brazil and grew up in Crete, Greece. He received his diploma in singing with honours and continued his studies in Vienna. Since 2001 he has been cooperating with the Greek National Opera. He has sung in numerous opera productions such as La bohème, Don Giovanni, Il cappello di paglia di Firenze, Le grand Macabre, Carmen, Peter Grimes, Werther, The Murderess, as well as Gianni Schicchi (Opera of Thessaloniki) and Lysistrata (Athens Concert Hall). He has also sung in operettas like The Apaches of Athens, Remember Those Years…!, The Love Bacillus, The Godson, The Cretan Girl, Die lustige Witwe, Pic-nic, Satanerie, I Want to See the Pope!, Die Fledermaus (Opera of Thessaloniki) and The Daughter of the Storm (Athens Epidaurus Festival). Furthermore, he has performed leading roles in children’s productions of the Greek National Opera such as The Magic Violin, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Little Red Riding Hood and Beware! The Prince is Messy.
