Anna-Maria Markopoulou

Born in Athens, she studied at the Preparatory Department of the Greek National Opera and later graduated as a dancer and a dance teacher from the GNO Professional Dance School. She obtained diplomas with honours in the English system (RAD) and took part in classical and contemporary dance groups. She has attended seminars with renowned professors receiving a scholarship and has collaborated with distinguished choreographers of Greece and abroad such as Konstantinos Rigos, Renato Zanella, Yannick Boquin, Daphnis Kokkinos, Andonis Foniadakis, Bruce Stevel, Sasha Radetsky, Olivia Pickford, etc. She studied alongside Υannis Dontsakis, Aleksandar Neskov, Christiana Stefanou, George Postelnikos, Susan Graham, etc. She participated in all performances of the GNO Professional Dance School and the GNO Ballet productions. Since 2019, she is a member of the GNO Ballet with the donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
