Fotini Chatzidaki

Greek soprano, she was born in Athens. She was a member of the Athens Mixed Municipal Choir (City of Athens Music Ensembles), where she also performed soloist parts in various works. With a scholarship from the Athens Municipality and studied advanced music theory and singing at the National Conservatory, Athens, graduating with honours and distinction (Lela Stamos’ class). She attended masterclasses with Giorgio Corelli and Anna Moffo. She has worked with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Chorus. In 1988 she joined the Greek National Opera Chorus, participating in almost all productions. Moreover, she has sung lead roles in such productions as Alkis Baltas’ The Little Prince. She has sung in concerts in Greece and internationally.
