Fotini Chatzidaki

Greek soprano, she was born in Athens. She was a member of the Athens Mixed Municipal Choir (City of Athens Music Ensembles), where she also performed soloist parts in various works. Moreover, she has been conduc- tor of the Children’s Chorus of the Athens Municipality, from where she received a scholarship and studied advanced music theory and singing at the National Conservatory, Athens (Lela Stamos’ class, diploma with hon- ours and distinction). She attended masterclasses with Giorgio Corelli and Anna Moffo. She has worked with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Chorus. In 1988 she joined the Greek National Opera Chorus, participating in almost all productions. Moreover, she has sung leading roles in such works as Alkis Baltas’ The Little Prince (world premiere). She has given concerts in Greece and abroad.
