Dimitris Kassioumis

Greek bass, he studied violin at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and voice at the National Conservatory, Athens, with John Modenos. He continued his studies at the Vienna Music Academy (Maria Callas scholarship, 1988). He has performed in major productions in Greece and internationally. In 2000 he joined the Greek National Opera. His repertoire includes Don Pasquale, Der fliegende Holländer, Le nozze di Figaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, L’elisir d’amore, Don Giovanni, La Cenerentola, Così fan tutte, Anna Bolena, La bohème, Andrea Chénier, Carmen, Le comte Ory, Samson et Dalila, Werther, Fidelio, Die sieben Todsünden, Gianni Schicchi, Rusalka, Aida, Norma, Nabucco, Tosca, Die Zauberflöte, I vespri siciliani and Madama Butterfly.
